This business is purely a gift from God. I never had a desire to start my own business, nor had I ever made soaps before. God gave me a word through a pastor in 2022 that the Lord would give me a creative business. I wrote down the word but soon forgot about it.

 

Many people in my family struggle with eczema, and their skin is easily irritated. Because of this, I started to look into ways to minimize the triggers and help their skin. My husband was always trying new soaps and lotions in an attempt to find one that didn’t irritate his skin. That was when I started to think about how many people struggle with skin issues, and how so many soaps and lotions only irritate the skin more—with all the dyes, perfumes, and chemicals.

 

So I started researching how to make soaps that would be good for sensitive skin and help reduce inflammation and irritation. After a lot of research, I decided to try and make some bars of soap using a detailed recipe I found online. Unfortunately, it turned out awful. I remember thinking, Making soap is a lot harder than it looks. I honestly wanted to give up.

 

But God brought to remembrance the word that He gave me. So I prayed and asked God to give me signs that this was the business He had spoken to me about. And He did—once through a video saying, “If it’s from God, He will give you the know-how and what you need to do it.” So I prayed for a recipe for the soaps and for God to guide me in making them. Not long after that, God gave me several recipes. I made and tested them, and they worked amazingly and felt so good on my skin.

 

Then, a couple of weeks later, I was praying more and asking God if I had heard Him right. He gave me another word at a women’s conference about starting a business, and He also gave me ingredients for a salt scrub to make as well.

 

That is how this business was created—through the guidance and direction of God—to help give people options for their sensitive skin while bringing glory to God.
